It sure would be nice to have one of those on my 2002 Sierra D/A... been looking and waiting for a long while, but they're three model years short. :(
I talked to Karl at the fall regional meeting, and he said to put in requests if we want to see an Injen/EaA intake for earlier trucks... that Amsoil logs all those requests.
UPDATE --- UPDATE --- UPDATE on 3/12/08
I didn't hear anything from anyone, so I contacted The Man at AMSOIL (Karl) who has put together the air-intake packages with Injen, as well as a GM engineer who owns a Duramax. First step, the engineer is going to analyse the CAD data to see the differences in the engine compartments and turbo intake OD, position, and angle, from the '04/'05 to the earlier model years. Then the results will have to be evaluated for what that data means to the Injen intake design.
Hey, that's progress. One step at a time! :)

Any update on this subject? I am wanting to upgrade since I am installing a new trans to handle 700RWHP and will need to upgrade to a better intake as the stocker is only good to 500RWHP.
So far Tony there only available for the 2005 - 2007 trucks. You could always run a aftermarket intake system using a Amsoil Ea induction air filter.

I thought about that, but being a Amsoil dealer myself, I want to support my chain. Plus I would like to some advertisement for my company and Amsoil in general.

I also wanted one for my 2007 6.7 Dodge Cummins but they stopped at the2007 5.9

This is where they need some help in the advice department. Diesel trucks are taking over, and they need to understand that the older Ford 7.3's, Dodge 5.9 both 12V and 24V and all makes of the older Duramax are getting cheaper to buy. And with those purchases younger and older folks alike looking to increase both economy and power are wanting to upgrade intakes and exhaust first. Two of the best names are working together and yet they only opened the lineup to a few trucks and limited themselves right out of the box. Now Injen needs to play catch up and get with the program to get this setup into the not only older trucks, but to keep up with the newest trucks produced every year.
Just my .02,
Tony

I am also waiting for the Amsoil/Injen intakes to catch up with the new trucks. They did launch there extensive line-up for alot of gasoline motors, but we all know that they do do much for the gas jobbies, they should be focusing on the diesel market as they produce the largest performance gains. I also am waiting for the other companies to catch up on performance, but am am Amsoil dealer so I am forced to wait.

I spoke to Amsoil Tech yesterday and asked about the Injen/Amsoil system for my 6.7 Cummins, I was told it is in the works but may be up to 6 months. Alot of the other manufactures already have systems available for the newer diesels.

Are any of the other intake systems rated as well as the Injen? I know a few other guys with them for their '06's and '07's and they all swear by them.
