I have a 05 D-max ECSB, Edge w/ Att, Flowmax cat back, and if any of you now this a Killerbee oil cooler. Voloant intake with a EaA filter. some more goodies.

Would like know how you like your edge. I am thinking of adding a chip to my truck, I have a crew cab short bed and trying to figure out what chip to use.

I have the Edge EZ for 3 years now and never any issues. (REVISED) I had to send the unit in to Edge as my engine just quit for no reason. This happened 3 times and not since I removed it. Edge reflashed it and bench tested it and said all was OK. I sold it and will buy a Predator. I use the lowest setting most of the time, I got it to improve mileage. I get 20 - 21 highway in the summer here in MI. Improved mileage by 1 mpg.

I have a tune that I am getting between 22-23 MPG on my truck, but now that I have a built trans I am having too much fun with the big power!

EFI Live is the best tuning device I have ever used!

Sorry about the very long delay w/ the reply. If you are still looking in to putting in a chip, I have had my Edge w/ Att. when I bought my truck. I myself have not had any problems with it. I am a lite Hot Shot person. So I run to keep cool and Im after MPG's. So I would run mine on 0 thourgh 3 and I went into 6 once to see what it was like, but my truck is my bread and butter these days, so I need to be careful.

Now Hourseholin is running EFlive, I myself really like what it has to offer, but it was not out when I bought my truck. I belong to a couple of groups like this site here and those sites talk up and down about the EFlive. They have all sorts of programs you can run, but most of the people chating on those sites are how much blk smoke can you make in less than a 1/4 mile. Hourseholin doesn't sound like one of them, so you may want to chat w/ them to find out about cost for programs the hand held unit, and which web sites you can get the programs.

By the way, EFlive is a program made by people like you and me, some have really got it down and some are just getting started so you my pay a little for the program, but you may pay a SH!T load later because of the lack of experience on the writers sidehttp://www.dieselpowersite.com/images/icons/icon9.gif

New to the site. I've got a 2005 Duramax Crew Cab 4x4. 4 inch exhause, cold air intake, EDGE CTS programmer. Very pleased with this setup. My fuel mpg is 18.2 and climbing. I only have 51000 miles on it. I am the original owner. It's my hunting truck as I work in sales and have had a company vehicle for the past 15 years. I can't figure out how to post pics. I get the file uploaded and then I cannot drag it to the designated area. I am on a Mac so that may be the issue. I also have Firefox so I may try there.
I am always looking for new ways to make my truck more fuel efficient.
