As I mentioned in my post (1999-2003) 7.3L I have only had a few repairs. For things like tires, brakes, suspension I consider these routine maintanence. With that said I had to replace all of my tie rods inner, outer, & drag link @ 145k. I replaced these with Moog parts as they are one of the best components you can buy & they are readily available @ O'reiley Auto Parts. This is the 1st time I had to replace these, which is a testament to how well built these trucks are. For comparison my previous truck was a 1989 Silverado 1/2 ton, & I had to replace the same hardware (3) times by the time I hit 145k miles & the idler arm (4) times.
