anyone ever use amsoil in there manual tranny ? is it worth it since there are no filters on them ?
I would say yes its worth it, nothing but Amsoil front to back. With all my customer running the Amsoil MTF in their NV5600 6-sp in their dodge cummmins all are having excellent results. With manual transmission and differentials its always good to drain the factory fluid after 3,000 to 5,000 miles to remove the break in fluild and any contaminats.
Now the 6-SPD ZF manual uses ATF, and I would highly recommend the Amsoil ATF over the factory ATF or any other oil for that matter. JMO, but I run nothing else but Amsoil products in everything I own, I won't settle for second best. But to answer your question it's well worth the extra few dollars spent knowing your running a premium synthetic with the best additives to protect your investment.
I don't have a Ford, though I will be switching very soon over to the Amsoil ATF in my 2007 Dodge Cummins manual G-56 6-SP manual trans.

Check Geno's Garage, I think I seen a filter system for the Dodge 6sp's over on his site. I found almost everything a guy could ever want for a Dodge 5.9 no matter the generation.

I just looked up that trans, and it is not compatible with that model. Might give them a call anyways and see if they might know of one for that model. Sorry.
