Had my truck in for a Malfunction Light problem. Found out I had an O2 sensor problem that was just recalled the night before. There is also a new flash for the 6.7 as well new for Nov. Found out that all of the problems with the 6.7's right now is not with the motor or the new emissions filters but with the sensors in the filters. They were originally designed to come on when the truck was on the highway for a longer period of time so the filters would be cleaned out. This was great for everyone except those that didn't get on the freeways on a normal basis. What Dodge has done is reset the sensors with the flash updates to come on sooner so those that don't do long highway mile trips don't clog up their filter. Anyway, that is my two cents worth.

Hey Ferris I was at the DHRA event in Baytown a few weeks ago & I was talking to the rep w/ Dynomite Diesel Performance and he mentioned that same problem that his friend had in his 6.7 so they put in a set of DDP stage 1 injectors and the extra heat created by these kept the DPF from plugging well before the dealer re-flashed the ECM. Something to consider especially since the Cummins engines are the easiest to change the injectors on.

I had nothing but problems from the day of purchase witht the ETC light and check engine light, after being to the dealers 9 times in 5 weeks in Sept I believe all is well. Well at least no lights for over a month now. Truck runs great, can not believe the power. So far very happy.

2007 Dodge 6.7 6-sp manual ThounderRoad. Amsoil and BMK-11 installed.

Well...... my guess is it will probably void warranty because it does change the original operating parameters of the engine. But now that my engine is well out of warranty I am planning an injector swap on my 7.3L just as soon as I can covery the monetary aspect of that project. After all I do have to buy (8) of them..........

Understand, will have to talk with my warranty friend to find out what he thinks, if he will still warranty the truck then I may just have to get a set.

Had my 6.7 in for the latest upgrades for check engine light staying on, consisted of a re-flash, cleaning of the turbo and air intake system, and sensors, and exhaust wrap in some places. So far all is well. Been about a month and no light coming on. Though I found this sweet 08 4500 Ram 4x4 Utility box I'm looking at.
