Does anyone know what the best exhaust system is for my 6.0L? There are so many different systems on the market it is difficult to figure out which is the best for power overall increase and that will last a long time. I had one on my 7.3L that did not last that long because it was not stainless steel. I want a top quality stainless steel exhaust. Rex
I liked the MBRP Performance S/S exhaust I had on my 2002 Dodge Diesel. Sent you a PM Rex.

There are 2 different grades of stainless used by most manufacturers of exhaust systems. One will usually only have a warranty of a few years, sometimes up to five like Magna-flow, while the better grade of stainless tube will be warranted for life. You didn't say what your 7.3 system was made of, but Pinnacle Performance Exhaust by Jerry Jardine usually makes their systems of aluminized steel and he warrants them for lilfe accordiing to the ad I saw in latest issue of Diesel Power Magazine. I have one of his systems on my 7.3.
The XP series is a 409 grade stainless steel and MBRP has placed a lifetime warranty on this exhaust. It use to have a 5 year.
The Pro series is 304 grade stainless steel and is there best system. This system also has a lifetime warranty, but the price is about $200 more over the XP series.
