you would not believe this. my speedometer has quit working. it has zeroed itself on 60 and starts from there! lol..... any one have any ideas on what it might be? could it be the speed sensor ?does this truck have one.or could it be another electronic component? it can't be just a fuse because it still works just doesn't have the correct speed. lol... any suggestions?

Check with your dealer, there may be a service bulletin out on the instrument cluster. ;)

I have a 2004 and I received a letter stating that they extended my warrenty on my instrument panel where the needles would stick, flutter, or become inoperative including the speedometer and fuel gauge.
Since I have a Chevy the customer service number on this one is 1-800-630-2348.

There is an extended warrenty on these dashes, but it depends on year and mileage. Call your local dealer and inform them of the situation and they shoudl fix it for you. But as stated before, it depends on those conditions.

Will see if I can find TSB on that dash.
