I am looking at buying a new 6.7L. However, I have read several negative reviews in regards to fuel milleage, transmission noises, light sensors, and cranking problems.

Has all of these problems been addressed? Should I reconsider the 5.9L instead?

I have only had one problem with mine and it was a manufacture recall on an O2 sensor. Other then that my truck has been great. I only have 1500 miles on mine and the mileage is not great but my wife drives the you know what out of it so I am not expecting to get very good mileage. I am certain the more miles I put on it the better it will do. As for the truck, great power, like the transmission, and likes to get up and go. I have the '07 6.7 quad cab 4x4. Don't be scared, most of the issues have been computer relaited and according to Dodge have been improved on greatly.

Same here, I had problems with check engine light and ETC light coming on from day one. Dealer replaced 02 sensor and reflashed and so far all is well. Love the power of the 6.7 and no problems with the G-56 6-sp manual. Mileage is geating better and better, I had the best so far of over 20 mpg highway.

The mpg will increase as more miles get put on, these trucks are powerful work horses and are ment to be driven hard. I'm now starting to see 22-23 mpg highway with a light foot. But I did not purchase this truck for the mileage.
