Im new to owning a 99 superduty but have been around them since i was born! Well a year ago i bought a 99 ford f-250 powerstroke that a buddy started building but had to sell due to a lawsuit.....But anyhew this truck was a two wheel drive f-250 when we started this project (mostly him) since he's a cert. mechanic for pintergore logging (the boss) well mods include the larger turbo off a late model 99 which is larger than the early 99's....k&n cold air intake.....edge juice with attitude.....4 inch exaughst turbo back no muffler.....we took the one ton front axle and transfer case off a (i beleave) 02 4x4 with leafs all the way around and upgraded my truck to a 4x4 one ton, although i still have the rear 3/4 ton rear with tripple load springs. we put a rebuilt tranny in with a shift kit and a new tripple- loc torqe converter to handle the extra power. We also took the leather interior and seats out of a bi-centennial edition superduty and the headlights cause mine sucked and were yellow now there crystal clear! I was forced to put my 37 inch super swampers with 16 inch rims early with no lift....im serious no lift but i had to remove the bumper!

I plan on 10" lift with open country 38s cheaper and better than the toyo's trust me...the rubber is not as soft and they last way longer than toyo's with the same stopping power on asphalt and dont hydroplain as easy either...i know from experiance but its still (my oppinion) Cant spell today!!!
I am also in the middle of fab-ing a 7" single stack 36" long...ill post pics as soon as i can figure out how!

I own a small business that provides blasting and pyrotechnics so my truck is catered around the equipment i use,ill be fab-ing plenty of cool racks and specialty tool holders in the bed and ill post pics of the process of me screwing up along the way and the finished result.

Well im glad i have found a powerstroke forum i can call home! I look forward to learning new stuff and hearing crazy stories!
