to buy or NOT

I have been considering buying an 08 6.0 pwr stroke in a new E350 van, and I have heard and read so many horror stories that I am afraid to buy one now. I currently have a cummins 5.9 that I put almost 200K trouble free, but I would like some encouragement on the 6.0. my father in law has had the 7.4 6.0 and the new 6.4 but has never kept a truck long enough to need an oil change, so I could not gauge reliability. I like the styling of ford, and considered a F-350 sometime also. whadda you guys think?

the 60 is a nightmare i hane 04 60 its been onr thing after another head gaskets, transmissions, injectors, egr coolers, what we need is a truck with mopar motor & bowtie trans!!!!!!!!
