Anyone running Synthetic in there 6.2L? I was think about using it at my next oil change in my 85'.

Is it mechanically sound ? yes !

Any oil leaks ? NO !

You shoud be fine, if you choose to switch I would do the engine flush and recommend the Amsoil AME 15w-40

Its mechanically sound, and doesnt leak. I'm just worried about spinning a main bearing. The engine has 158K miles on it.

Dirt is the most cause of bearing failure, changing to a synthetic motor oil will not cause bearing failure in a mechanically sound engine.
