A couple of months ago, while trying to correct a miss, I wiggled the plug on the outside of the left side valve cover harness. The next time I started the truck I got a P0678 code, Cylinder 8 Glow Plug Circuit. Everytime I deleted the code, it would return again after 1 - 3 starts. I assumed that it had to do with the wiring circuit, not the actual glow plug, because the explanation said circuit. Was I wrong? I took the truck apart to check the harnesses because of the miss, replaced the right side, found nothing wrong with the left side but put the fix clip in it anyway since it was apart, but didn't check the glow plug at the time (dumb). When I put it back together and fired it up I still have the P0678 code. Can anyone help?
