Next oil sample ?

I did my first oil sample at 11,835 miles on the amsoil 15-40 syn. statement said oil is suitable for continued use . The TBN is 8.72 . My question is should i sample at 5,000 more or go 10,000 ? Thanks , Bo.

I would wait another 10K, under normal service interval the oil is rated for 25,000 miles or 1 yr, and with the bypass filtration you should have no problem. Then maybe change the EaO oil filter and top off.
